Post-Symposium Intensive: Low Dose Botanicals: Three Clinical Approaches

This six-hour intensive features the experiences of three herbalists that regularly use low-dose botanicals in their clinical practices. The focus is on providing guidelines for the safe clinical use of plant-based preparations with a reputation for causing cumulative damage, requiring specific dilution, or have been misused.

The information shared explores different methods for working with low dose botanicals, including basic clinical skills for integrating low dose herbs into practice such as dosage guidelines and preparations, specific herbal indications, and cautions and contraindications. In addition, several case studies will be presented to demonstrate specific protocols.

A round table style discussion ends the session where you are invited to exchange ideas and knowledge as we all expand our understanding of the role of low-dose botanical preparations in modern healthcare.
