Reidman College has been the leader in the field of training Complementary & Integrative Medicine therapists in Israel for over 35 years. Among the professional fields are studies in Naturopathy, Herbology, and Chinese Herbal Medicine. The Master Herbalist 3-years education program provides extensive professional training and focuses on traditional knowledge of Western Herbal Medicine with an integrative holistic approach. The training includes courses in Nutrition, Lifestyle, Western Medicine, Pharmacology and Aromatherapy, along with the latest knowledge gleaned from scientific researches on the special treatment capabilities of herbs.
In the final year of the program there are two Supervised Internships. One in Nutrition and one in Herbology. This helps the students gain experience and develop the self-confidence to graduate and succeed in their new profession.
Our courses are unique and offer expert high-quality instruction through both frontal and Zoom classes; thus providing students with a variety of educational choices depending on their needs. The program also combines experiential experience with herbs through pharmaceutical workshops (learning how to make different preparations from the different parts of the herbs) and guided study tours to get to know the herbs growing in their natural environment.
The Herbalist program can also be taken as a specialization inside of the 4-years Naturopathy program.
