Katolen holds a Doctorate in Osteopathy and is a Medical Herbalist currently in private practice in Vancouver and Port Moody, BC. Since 2010, Katolen has been running a student clinic herbal mentorship program online & in person for Canadian and international herbal medicine training facilities and for advanced students of herbal medicine via independent study. She also is a clinic supervisor for Heartwood and, Betonica (UK). From 2013-2019 she was the president of the BC Herbalists Association and president of the Canadian Council of Herbalist Associations (2017 – 2023 and 2025 to current). She is the author of the book, “The Good Living Guide to Natural and Herbal Medicines”. Katolen holds a degree of Doctor of Osteopathy and practices in Vancouver Canada.
