Real plants. Real land. Real mentorship. Real community.
Herb Ahava’s School of Holistic Herbalism is rooted in a simple truth: herbalism is learned through relationship. Our programs are led by seasoned professional herbalists, offering embodied botanical education that moves students beyond guessing, internet overwhelm, and disconnected information into confident, lived knowledge.
We emphasize hands-on learning at every level. Students touch the plants, grow medicine, harvest responsibly, make remedies, and build lasting relationships with the land and the people they study alongside. This relational approach reflects the roots of effective herbalism that supports not only individual health, but the well-being of families and communities on whole.
Our 8 month, 200 hour program weaves Classical Five Element wisdom, bioregional native plant medicine, and modern research into embodied knowledge that strengthens intuition through lived experience.
Herb Ahava provides flexible class options and program tiers, allowing each student to choose a learning path that aligns with their life and herbal goals -whether they are beginning their journey or deepening an existing practice.
We teach the full spectrum of herbalism: regenerative cultivation and land stewardship, sustainable harvesting, safe and effective medicine making, apothecary skills, and real-world clinical herbalism for self, family, and community care.
Just as importantly, we intentionally cultivate long-term mentorship and community support that extends beyond the classroom, because herbalism was never meant to be learned alone!
Together, in alliance with plants, we create positive change.
