Fig is a Clinical Herbalist, Functional Medicine Practitioner, Medicinal Herb Farmer, Horticulturist, and Herbal Educator specializing in hormonal health, histamine intolerance, and the brain–gut connection. She has served her communities as an herbal practitioner for over 17 years.
Rooted in a deep relationship with native plants, she weaves Classical Five Element theory with Appalachian folk traditions, offering a uniquely integrative approach to healing through botanicals and nutraceuticals. She serves as the director and lead teacher at the Herb Ahava School of Holistic Herbalism, where she guides students in both online and in-person learning.
