Holly Bellebuono

The Bellebuono School of Herbal Medicine, and Vineyard Herbs Teas & Apothecary

Herbalist and empowerment speaker Holly Bellebuono is the author of several books, including Women Healers of the World: The Traditions, History & Geography of Herbal Medicine, which earned The Thomas DeBaggio Book of the Year Award by The International Herb Association. Her other books include The Essential Herbal for Natural Health, The Authentic Herbal Healer, a 6-CD audio collection, and (to be released in 2016) The Healing Kitchen.

Holly speaks nationally about empowerment and natural health. Her research into myths and fairy tales is the basis of her lecture Afraid of the Dark, in which she turns a fresh eye to Campbell's hero's journey and shares with audiences at conferences, universities and business professionals how the symbols of descent and darkness are key motivators in achieving success. Holly's very popular lecture Women Healers of the World is a colorful slide presentation exploring the 31 women from 20 countries and 16 healing traditions featured in her award-winning book; she lectures on herbs for neurodegenerative diseases, herbal tonics, and women's entrepreneur skills as well.

Holly directs The Bellebuono School of Herbal Medicine and Vineyard Herbs Teas & Apothecary on Martha's Vineyard.
