We will share a brief history of herbalism in Mexico and talk about some of the primary ways herbs are used in curanderismo such as for baths, steams and limpias. We will share some of the gifts curanderismo has to offer the practice of herbalism in the US.and talk about some of the most important plants used in this system of healing.
Atava has researched extensively the indigenous healing traditions of both her indigenous Mexican ancestors as well as her Polish Slavic ancestors. Her healing practice includes herbal medicine, flower essences, dream work, curanderismo and deep genealogy coaching.
