A lichen is a single organism, consisting of fungal tissue and algal tissue working together. They contain some substances found in medicinal mushrooms like Reishi or Maitake, some substances found in algae like spirulina or chlorella, and some substances that are only found in lichens. This webinar will cover some different species of lichens, their traditional medicinal uses, and methods of preparation.
