In the winter, plants draw their energies inward. Their growth slows, their roots brace against the hardening earth, and yet, deep inside, their cells know that spring will come and the warmth will return. Join herbalist Ashley Litecky Elenbaas, RH(AHG), for an inside look at winter and how we can utilize the wisdom and intelligence of plants to keep us from falling into seasonally inspired depressive states. This talk will weave plant biology, phytochemistry, story, and the use of medicinal plants in creating supportive protocols for those facing the depths of the winter blues.
