Symposium Lodging and Travel Details

The 34th Annual AHG Symposium, October 13 to 16, 2023, at the YMCA of the Rockies, Snow Mountain Ranch in Granby, CO.

Granby is located approximately 80 miles (2 hour drive) northwest of Denver, Colorado. The Denver International Airport is the closest major airport. From there, you can book a shuttle, taxi, car rental, or check our Facebook Ride and Room Share Group to travel to Snow Mountain Ranch. 

Onsite lodging is available and all lodge rooms include a meal plan. 

Important Reminders: There are two venues with the name "YMCA of the Rockies." Our Symposium is at the Snow Mountain Ranch. Make certain you use the correct location when planning your travel!

Booking Your Lodging at Snow Mountain Ranch

Contact Snow Mountain Ranch directly to book your lodging. We suggest booking rooms in Indian Peaks Lodge as it is central to all Symposium activities. Rates for lodge rooms include a meal plan (dinner on the night of your arrival, and then breakfast and lunch the following day.) Individual meals may also be purchased at the cafeteria.

A Word about Preventing Altitude Sickness

Snow Mountain is located about 8,000 feet in the high Rockies, for most of us, this is a significant altitude increase so we strongly suggest you rely on your herbal allies to prepare in the weeks before Symposium, find our suggestions here. 

Shuttle and Taxi Services

Driving Directions to Snow Mountain Ranch from Denver International Airport:

• Follow Pena Blvd towards I-70 follow for 9.8 miles then merge onto I-70 West.
• Take 1-70 West 52.5 miles to Exit #232 (US 40 to Empire/Granby)
• Travel over Berthoud Pass and through the town of Winter Park approx 45 miles.
• Snow Mountain Ranch's entrance is 12 miles past Winter Park on the left (west) side of the US 40.
• Follow the road approximately 1 mile and check in at the Administration Building on your left.
