Meals and Dining at Symposium

With the exception of the Community Lunch on Saturday (included with the price of your Symposium ticket) you are on your own for meals during Symposium. Fortunately, there are a multitude of dining options within walking distance of the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel and Conference Center.

  • Jinya Ramen Bar ($-$$) - Fun place with lots of ramen options with vegan, vegetarian and paleo options. Nice outdoor dining area. 910 Prose St. 12 min walk. 
  • Commonwealth Indian Restaurant ($$) - Elegant and quiet Indian restaurant with very good Indian food. 11610 Old Georgetown Rd. 7 min walk. 
  • BurgerFi ($) – Grass-fed and vegetarian burgers as well as craft beer. 11881 Grand Park Ave. 9 min walk. 
  • Sweetgreen ($) - Organic creative salad company with lots of healthy options for everyone. 900 Rose Ave. 8 min walk.
  • CAVA ($) - A little bit of a walk but worth it. Counter service Mediterranean with excellent meat and veggie options like lentil and greens bowls or spicy lamb. 12037 Rockville Pike. 18 min walk. 
  • Julii ($$$) - Posh and intimate modern French. Reservations necessary. 11915 Grand Park Ave. 10 min walk. 
  • Whole Foods Market: 11355 Woodglen Drive. 7 minute walk.
