Your Lodging and Travel

The venue has double and single rooms and an assortment of other types of lodging.

Arrival

Please visit the AHG registration desk to pick up your nametag when you arrive and to get your venue map with classroom locations to help you navigate the area. All classrooms are centrally located in the same building.

Special Needs

If you need special accommodations such as an ADA compliant or pet friendly room, we recommend calling Unicoi at 1-800-573-9659 to discuss your needs. There are ADA compliant lodge rooms as well as cabins. Don't forget to mention that you are with American Herbalists Guild!

Symposium Proceedings

The Symposium Proceedings will be made available to all registrants via a digital link that will be sent to you prior to Symposium.

Thursday Night Reception

We will kick off symposium at the Maypop Mixer on Thursday night, October 25th at 8:00 pm. This event is not part of general registration. Tickets can be purchased as an add on when registering for Symposium. Children (under 17 years old) attend for free. 

Annual General Meeting

The AGM is held Saturday from 11:30 - 2:00pm. A community luncheon (free with your symposium ticket) preceeds the meeting. You may bring a lunch guest by purchasing additional tickets at the Registration Desk  ($18 each).

Symposium Schedule

For a general idea of the overall sympsium, see Schedule at a Glance.  All sessions and plant walks are 1.5 hours long. Schedule changes are possible. Look for schedule updates and any changes at AHG Registration. Note: Plant walks are not ADA accessible.

Herbal Products Contest

You are invited to enter your products in our contest. We have many categories of entry, judges from widely renowned product companies, and a generous grand prize offering. For more information, click here.

Bioregional Materia Medica in Clinical Practice Certificate Track

Participants who attend any five workshops in the Bioregional Materia Medica in Clinical Practice track as well as the post-Symposium intensive on Monday will earn a Certificate of Completion in Bioregional Materia Medica in Clinical Practice. Click here to learn more about the certificate track.

NCCAOM

The American Herbalists Guild has been approved to award continuing education credits for classes taken at this year’s Symposium. All classes are eligible for NCCAOM PDAs. Forms may be picked up at the AHG registration desk.

CEUS

General CEU forms may be picked up at the registration desk.

Silent Auction Donations

Did you know, one of our most important fundraising efforts of the year is the Annual Silent Auction at the Symposium? Proceeds from the auction allow us to provide cash awards to the winners of our annual Community Service Award and the AHG Award for Notable Work Supporting Diversity, Equity, and Justice in Herbalism. Your donation of goods or services, makes it possible for us to support work that furthers the mission of the Guild.   Please bring any items you wish to donate with you to Symposium and leave them at the AHG Registration Desk.

And don't forget to bring your wallet to the Silent Auction!

Rockin' Roots Party

We'll see you on Saturday night party when we cut loose and have fun together! The party gets started at 8:00 pm and rocks until 10:30 PM.  Meet up with friends old and new for an evening of dancing, conversation, and appetizers. This event is included in all general registration ticket. Read more here.

Additional tickets ($20) for your guests may purchased as an add on when registering.
