A Letter to our Sponsors

Dear Potential Sponsor,

Right now, the AHG faces new challenges. As we adapt to these unprecedented circumstances, we continue to serve our community as best we can, and so far we have provided extensive Covid-19 resources, practitioner guidelines, ongoing webinars, and are transitioning our largest annual event, the Symposium, to an online experience. Our COVID-19 page on the website has had over a million hits, so we know many people are connecting to and using our resources. However, in order to ensure the continuation of our work and support, we need your help TODAY. Please consider rejoining us as a sponsor at the highest level possible.

While the AHG has always been a streamlined and lean nonprofit, operating within our budget to provide the herbal community with the wonderful benefits and annual event, the impact of COVID-19 is hitting our ability to continue in the short term. Due to this, we have taken a large revenue hit, have had to transfer our 2020 symposium deposit to 2021 (so we don’t lose it completely), and are working to create an amazing online symposium experience. All of this requires revenue in deposits, contracts, and fees. We know many of you in the herbal community have experienced tough times as well, and, we know some of our members and community are experiencing significant increase in revenue due to the sales of herbal products. I am reaching out to you during our own time of need to ask that if you are in a position to help the AHG, that you support us over this hump. Your support will allow us to continue planning our 2020 Online Symposium Event, keep our office and staff going, and enable us to continue to provide the level of benefits and services that you expect from the AHG

We plan to launch registration for the Online Symposium Experience in early June and want your business to headline our event outreach. A commitment by May 15 will ensure your company maximum visibility, as well as provide us with needed funds to continue our COVID-19 educational programming. Please feel free to email me at office@americanherbalistsguild.com with questions or to set up a payment plan or to cater a mutually supportive relationship.

Warmly and Gratefully,

MImi Heenandez
Executive Director. AHG
