She holds a master’s degree in mental health counseling and has studied energy work and flower essences under several teachers. Heidi is committed to holistically supporting her clients thrive: physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Her practice blends psychosomatic therapy, flower essences, and herbal medicine to address the multifaceted aspects of disease, with an emphasis on mental and emotional wellness. Rebecca Snow has been practicing herbal medicine and nutrition for 12 years. She is a Registered Herbalist with the AHG and a licensed nutritionist in the state of Maryland. She specializes in chronic illness, Lyme and related illnesses, digestive disease, weight loss, food addiction. She uses nutrition, herbs and coaching.
Rebecca began her career practicing at Optimal Health Physicians, an Integrative Medical Practice that specializes in chronic infection and disease. She worked for 10 years at the Maryland University of Integrative Health (MUIH) in a variety of roles including Founding Director of the MS in Nutrition and Integrative Health Program and faculty/supervisor in the herbal medicine and nutrition departments. Currently, Rebecca has a clinical practice at the Avalon Wellness Center in Catonsville, Maryland and runs a mentorship program for new practitioners.
Rebecca has presented on herbs and nutrition throughout the mid-Atlantic region including lectures at Goucher College, Johns Hopkins University, Morgan State University, and Presbyterian Medical Center at the University of Pennsylvania. She serves as a subject matter expert for local media and has appeared on Fox 45 and WBAL in Baltimore.
