Sponsorship Resources and Benefits

We are deeply grateful for your support of the American Herbalists Guild and our mission. Thanks to you, we are able to continue our service to the herbal community.

We want you to take advantage of all of the benefits of your sponsorship. Below you will find all the information you need to get the most from your contribution.

As a Sponsor, there are several important deadlines that you need to be aware of in the coming months so please be sure to read this information and take action using the links provided.

Symposium Sponsor Benefits

You may review your sponsorship benefits by checking your Sponsor level here. If you have questions about your benefits or need assistance redeeming a benefit, please email us at office@americanherbalistsguild.com with the subject 'Sponsor Benefits'.

Arrival

Please visit the registration desk to pick up your nametag and Sponsor packet when you arrive. Upon check-in at registration, you will receive a map of the venue and classroom locations to help you navigate the area. 

 

Logo and Website

If you have not yet submitted your logo to the office, please send it immediately to office@americanherbalistsguild.com so we can include it on the AHG website and on other materials. Logos should be digital high-resolution files in a JPEG, JPG, or EPS format.

  • Website Listing

If you have already submitted your logo, please review your website link and description. Let us know if any edits are needed.

Your logo has been included in the rotating graphics on all Symposium website pages. To update your logo or description at anytime, please email us at office@americanherbalistsguild.com with the subject 'Update Sponsor Logo/Description'.

 

Expo Hall Information

All sponsors who would like to have a table in the Expo Hall must reserve a table by June 10, 2017. Sponsors do not automatically have a table reservation and space is limited. After June 10, we cannot guarantee tables in the Expo Hall.

When you reserve a table, you will receive detailed information, including your table number and an exhibitor map, by September 1, 2017.

All tables are 6’ X 30” and come with 2 chairs and are covered with a black cloth.

If you are a Platinum, Gold, Silver, or Copper Level Sponsor, you may reserve a full table. Green Leaf Level Sponsors receive a shared half-table.

Expo Hall Schedule

  • Thursday, October 5: Expo Hall Set-Up: 10 AM – 5 PM
  • Friday, October 6: Expo Hall Open: 8 AM – 7 PM
  • Friday, October 6: Expo Hall Events: 2 PM – 3 PM
  • Saturday, October 7: Expo Hall Open 8 AM – 7 PM (Closed 12:30 PM – 3 PM)
  • Sunday, October 8: Expo Hall Take-Down: 10 AM – 5 PM

Oregon Gardens asks that you not send packages more than a week before the event due to storage reasons.

PLEASE NOTE: UPS/FEDEX does not normally stop to pick/deliver to Oregon Gardens.  If you have packages to be returned to you after the event, they MUST have a return label on them, and you must call UPS to schedule a pick up. Oregon Gardens WILL NOT schedule any pick ups for Expo Hall exhibitors or sponsors.

  • Copper Leaf: Quarter-page color
  • Green Leaf: Eighth-page color

All ads are full color and are due September 1, 2017.

• Advertisement must be a high resolution (Press Quality) PDF file.
• Fonts must be embedded or converted to outlines.
• All colors should be converted to CMYK and any images must be 300dpi
CMYK images.
• All images are copyright controlled. You must have the right to useany
image that you include in your advertisement.
• We cannot accept native application files, e.g. QuarkXPress, InDesign,
Photoshop,Publisher, Illustrator, Powerpoint, Microsoft Word, etc.
• Our graphic designer will not edit any content of supplied advertisements.

Presenter Gift Bags Donations

It has been a long-standing AHG tradition to give each presenter a gift bag as a token of thanks from AHG and our supporters in the herbal community. As a member-funded non-profit organization, we rely on our presenters to make our annual event information-packed and inspiring. Their contribution to our success is beyond what we can offer in compensation so the gift bags are a wonderful way to acknowledge their contributions.

We would love to have you join us in thanking them and letting them know more about you and your business. Please consider donating products that would delight an herbalist!

If you want to see your product included in every bag, we will need 50 of each item. However, we welcome any number of products you may be willing to donate. Silent Auction Donations

One of our most important fundraising efforts of the year is the Annual Silent Auction, held on Saturday night at the Symposium. Proceeds from the auction allow us to provide cash awards to the winners of our annual Community Service Award and Victoria Fortner Award in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.

Your donation of goods or services makes it possible for us to support work that furthers the mission of the American Herbalists Guild. Please consider making a donation of any size or value to the silent auction. You can bring your item with you to the Symposium or contact us by email at events@americanherbalistsguild.com with the subject 'Silent Auction Donations' for shipping information.

 

AHG Membership Benefits

Your sponsorship includes a one-year Institutional or General Membership, as indicated below. Send an email to office@americanherbalistsguild.com with the subject 'Sponsor Member Benefits' to activate your membership.

You are responsible for making arrangements for, and paying for, your own travel and lodging to and from the Symposium.

General Symposium Tickets

We require all sponsors to register via our website. If you have any difficulties or questions regarding registration, please send us an email.

Please use the discount code: HERBALIST17 to negate the cost of registration.

Once you have registered, please send us an email letting us know the name of your registrant(s). If you will not be sending any attendees, please email to let us know as well.

  • Platinum Level Sponsors: 8 Symposium tickets
  • Gold Leaf Level Sponsors: 4 Symposium tickets
  • Silver Leaf Level Sponsors: 2 Symposium tickets
  • Copper Leaf Level Sponsors: 1 Symposium ticket
  • Green Leaf Level Sponsorship benefits do not include Symposium tickets.

Please note: Symposium tickets provided to Sponsors do not include admission to Thursday pre-Symposium or Monday post-Symposium intensives. You must register and pay for tickets to these events through the AHG registration.

Thursday Evening Event Tickets

If your sponsorship benefits include Symposium tickets, you will also receive complimentary tickets to our Thursday evening event, the Mahonia Mixer, which will kick off the Symposium. Please RSVP to the office and let us know you will be joining us for this event!
